Horytsvit 6

How did our sixth camp go? It’s best to hear it first-hand – from our Horytsvit kids!

Viktoriia, 16

Kharkiv

“Horytsvit was my very first camp. In two weeks you gave me life, people, kindness and the strength to be myself… That solstice night, those dances of the elements, that Divya Svara, that rainbow in the mountains, those tears as we said goodbye – those were the happiest moments. Thank you for them!”

Vitalii, 15

Sloviansk

“The camp was something else!!! I made lots of friends and I still keep in touch with them. The camp gave me unforgettable memories of the discos, songs, hikes and evenings round the campfire. I learned about lots of musical instruments, and did some really cool drawing and singing!”

Yuliia, 15

Kherson

“Horytsvit is a place where you can go deep into yourself and understand yourself better, while dissolving into the beauty of the Carpathians at the same time. The whole space created for the teenagers is cosy and inspires you to create. The camp is about discovering different sides of yourself: social, creative, spiritual, intellectual. It’s all really interesting, and on one trip to the camp you can learn a lot about yourself and come away with a whole mountain of incredible emotions and memories! I’m so grateful to the world that I had the chance to go to Horytsvit!”

Nikita, 13

Kherson

“The camp left me with really great impressions and experience, because they try to hear a child’s inner voice there and understand it. The different activities were really interesting too!”

Herman, 16

Kostiantynivka

“I really liked this camp. I made new friends, and thanks to this camp I forgot what war is for two weeks. Thank you to the organisers and mentors of the camp – it was unforgettable.”

Yuliia, 16

Kurakhove

“At the camp I felt safe; the atmosphere was really pleasant and comfortable.

“Thanks to the mentors and the friends I made at the camp, I managed to sort out my feelings and finally felt good.”
