Horytsvit 14

Honestly, of all the events and camps I’ve been to, Horytsvit is still, without exaggeration, the best – but you have to feel it. Feel what it’s like to step away from the big, civilised world, feel the echo of half-solitude and of being your own person; feel your true identity… feel yourself. Horytsvit gave me maybe the best time of my life, when I lit up from connecting with people rather than from material things, and when I realised that sometimes silence sounds better than words. But after a time like that away in the mountains, you start to miss it, and every now and then, when you want to recreate it on your own, it just doesn’t work in the reality of today. And still, it’s not really the workshops I remember, even though they definitely made me feel like an explorer – what affected me most were the people and what I took from their stories. That’s what I miss most. Everyone around me at the camp was as sincere and open as can be, people who weren’t afraid to be themselves, and that means more to me than anything. In a word, Horytsvit has been stuck in my head for ages, and I want it to stay that way.

Your camp truly heals, restores and inspires creativity, together with nature and the incredible beauty all around. My son told me all the kids were creative and nobody hurt or bullied anyone, so I’m very grateful to you for such an amazing holiday for my child!

Your camp is the best of all the camps I’ve been to. You have a special space, energy and approach, and I really love that. Everything there felt like home. Everyone was like a second family. It was really nice that the mentors paid attention to us in our free time – they were working, but they still found a few minutes for us. You could tell they really wanted to talk to us, not just keep us entertained, and that’s amazing. I’m so grateful to you and the whole Horytsvit team for giving us the chance to come to your camp, and thank you for the unforgettable days there. You’re the best. Seeing your camp made me want to work in a beautiful space like that too. And maybe one day even start my own camp that’s just as cool and full of good vibes.

My son came back with a smile and joy in his eyes. It’s been so long since I’ve seen him this happy. That’s a joy for us too. I hope this little seed stays with him and keeps growing. He talks about everyone with such excitement. About the feelings, the hikes, the drawing. These are such warm memories, and they’ll stay with the children for life. Thank you so much for treating our children with such warmth, understanding and love. You can feel it comes from the heart.

Thank you for such an unusual and really interesting camp, and thank you to the mentors for being friends to the children first and foremost. Now Yeva is hunting down everything she needs for tea ceremonies – that’s how much you inspired her.

Alisa came back a different person. She talked with such love about the girls in her room, the workshops, and especially the tea ceremony and the nail boards. It’s honestly incredible, because our prickly little hedgehog let herself be stroked. Thank you to the incredible team – so patient and so dedicated to what they do!
